Refund Policy

At RK Decor, we take pride in delivering high-quality decorating services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued and how we handle any disputes.

1. Deposits

  • Deposits are used to secure your booking and purchase materials.

  • All deposits are non-refundable, unless RK Decor cancels the job due to circumstances within our control.

  • If a customer cancels after materials have been purchased, the cost of those materials will be deducted from any refund considered.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before the work start date may be eligible for a partial refund of any payments made (excluding deposits and materials already purchased).

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund, as this time cannot be reallocated to another client.

3. Cancellations by RK Decor

If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or emergencies:

  • You will be offered a new date.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, including deposits.

4. Dissatisfaction with Work

Your satisfaction matters, and we aim to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Refunds will only be considered if:

  • A clear fault in workmanship is identified

  • RK Decor has been given a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue

  • The fault is not due to damage, misuse, or issues outside our control (e.g., damp, leaks, structural movement)

If a refund is appropriate, it will be proportional to the part of the job affected.

5. Materials

  • There are no refunds for materials purchased specifically for your project.

  • Any leftover materials remain the property of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

6. No-Show or Access Issues

If we arrive on the scheduled start date and cannot begin work due to lack of access or the site not being ready:

  • No refund will be issued.

  • Additional charges may apply to reschedule the work.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds will be issued within 7–14 business days.

  • Refunds are made via the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
